WatchThanks to Mr Hawes we have discovered a new online programme that allows to turn PowerPoint or Keynote presentations into a ‘film’ (with the features of a slideshow) that you can share online.
This will allow you all to share your Pecha Kucha presentations and embed them onto your class or personal blog.
This is one of my early Keynote presentations explaining how to make a Voki.
Watch8MW completed an evaluation survey after the MIB project. In this survey we focused on Personal Learning and Thinking Skills and how we used them while working on the project.

Watch8MW have lost 3 lessons of Make It Better project due to school trips and inset days and I feel like we haven’t done enough work in order to finish the project. It’s time to pull things together and take some actions.

what my group is making better is to make sure the heating is off in the summer and on in the winter because it is always either too hot or too cold.

It was great to take a moment to check out some of your first ideas for the MIB project. I particularly like the idea of a GCSE for Boys in the correct way to behave around and treat girls. What sorts of questions would you have in the exam? Or do girls need a GCSE in ways to be more self-confident and assertive?

I think Thomas Tallis should make boys take a GCSE on how to treat a girl. It would make all the girls happy! And less heartbreak! :) Also I think Thomas Tallis should get air conditioning in the summer and radiators for the yearbases. It’s more convienient and comfier!

To make the school better there should be cleaner toilets and also there should be more teachers around so they can stop people smoking during school.There should also be more clubs at lunch time than after school because some people cant always make the clubs after school.There should also be more clubs like food tech aor art and deign club or something.Also there should be free non school...

To make the school better we want to see more art in the school things like good graffiti and some pop art on the walls in the corridors and year base. It would also be good to have music in the year base at lunch times. Maybe we can have a school radio station.

Audioboo evaluations failure
I must say that nothing scares 8MW after encountering so many problems with the network. Today we were in room 105 and 5 computers out of 12 refused to connect to the wireless network AGAIN!!! Therefore Audioboo evaluation didn’t happen.
Surprisingly students in 8MW have dealt with it incredibly well. Unfortunately months of struggles, frustrations and disappointments made us al resilient...
WatchWell done, Amabel, for setting up an Audioboo account at home. You were the first one to do it. Congratulations! I hope you can use it in your evaluations when we progress with the work on Make It Better.

I think that discovery and play is possible in lessons as long as all the class participate and dont talk or be disruptive as when the class acts like that it very hard for the lesson to work as it is very stop starty it would be very good if we use discovery and play in are lessons as everyone would benift

I think that discovery and play is possible in lessons.Discovery and play can be done inside or outside but I think outside is much more fun than being stuck in a classroom. Our collages was fun and it would be better if we did more things like that. To do discovery and play everyone just has to listen and pay attention.
